Robert and Tanya Evans are heartbroken about the loss of their cat Eugene, who passed away at the age of 3 on September 3, 2025.

Eugene was a gentle, beautiful Maine Coon mix who loved to snuggle and lie in the sun, where he’d roll onto his back and feel the warmth. He spent time watching kitty videos on YouTube and playfully harassing his fur siblings, Bean and Olive.

Eugene was known for his intellect, and he learned how to sit for his treats after just one week of training. He will be terribly missed by the entire family.

“He was very good and gentle with our young granddaughters,” Tanya said. “Although he would tease and torment our other two kitties, we could often find them sleeping on the same piece of furniture. He will forever be loved, missed, and often thought of.”
